Christmas Hopes

Once upon a time, not to long ago, lived a girl, who was called Jennifer.
Hi!”

She lived in a town called Des Moines, Iowa. She was 5 years old. She 3 brothers and no sisters and all she wanted was a sister. She wrote to Santa explaining her wish.

Dear Santa,
As you know I have three brothers. They do not make me happy. I would very much appreciate if you would give me a sister. I will promise to be good.

Sincerely,
Jennifer Goodwin

P.S. I also want a pony.
P.P.S Do not give my brothers anything they want.

She tried to be on her best behavior all through the rest of November and December. However she made a few mistakes, like when she kicked her brothers in the shins because they were bugging her. Or the time when she took a cookie without asking. Or the time she threw a tantrum in the store because her mommy would not let her have any candy. However, she still hoped that Santa would bring her a sister.

Finally, it was Christmas Eve. Jennifer went to sleep restless, and when she ran downstairs on Christmas morning (5:02 to be exact) and ripped open her stocking only an envelope was awaiting her. However when she opened the envelope what was inside surprised her. It was a card with the words “It’s a Girl” emblazoned on the front when she opened it was a picture of her sister in her mother’s belly.
She ran into her parents’ room and yelled “No wonder you’ve got so fat!”

Five months later Jennifer was writing another letter to Santa, this one saying,

Dear Santa,
Thank you for this gift of a sister, but I do not like her very much. If it is not to much trouble could you maybe take this problem off my hands.

Sincerely,
Jennifer Goodwin

P.S. She is also not very pretty. If you can’t take her back would you please just make her not look like an ugly potato.

P.P.S I still do not appreciate my brothers when you take my sissy back could you take back them too?
